Supporting Cadets, Shaping Futures
Every grant we’ve given tells a story—of adventure, learning, and growth. Whether it’s helping cadets climb mountains, sail new waters, or perform in public with pride, the Trust’s support has opened doors for hundreds of young people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This page highlights the projects we’ve backed and the lives we’ve helped shape.
01 - Donation of Climbing tower
Supporting discipline, coordination and concentration
The climbing tower was purchased and is sited on their local training area for ease of access.
The Trust raised funds for a climbing tower to enhance the training experience of the cadets to engage in a physical challenge and in turn challenge themselves.

02 - Supplementing winter adventure training
Supporting self-confidence, fostering camaraderie, and new opportunities.
The Trust funds adventure training so that opportunities stay at the heart of Cadet life, inspiring them to thrive. Most recently funds were granted for an overseas skiing trip. A great adventure for lifelong memories and benefits.
03 - Donation of Clay Pigeon Shooting Equipment
Supporting focus, accuracy and teamwork, enjoying sport in a team and individual discipline.
The Trust responded to a request to update clay pigeon shooting equipment and enable the Cadets to enter into a challenging competition, enhancing their training and development in the sport.

04 - Donation of Musical Instruments
Supporting perseverance, performance and self-esteem.
At short notice the Trust provided a grant to refurbish musical instruments and purchase ancillaries for drums and bugles allowing Cadets to develop through a musical syllabus and progress to become competent musicians.
05 - DofE Certificate frames
Supporting Resilience, leadership and personal growth.
Cadets are encouraged to take part in this nationally recognised programme.
The Trust funded the framing of these certificates to enhance the achievement shown by the Cadets and to offer a long lasting memory of their hard work and
dedication.
